Those who’ve entered the sacred space of Red Rocks Amphitheater already knew this to be true, but in 2019 Pollstar made it official: The Best Outdoor Concert Venue in America is in Morrison, CO, just 10 miles west of Denver. Red Rocks Amphitheater is nestled in a rock structure that airs divinity. The grounds are, without question, holy.

Red Rocks has its fair share of competition for best outdoor concert venue in the U.S. Hollywood Bowl, Forest Hills Stadium, Greek Theatre, Ascend Amphitheater, Gorge Amphitheater and Merriweather Post Pavillion, just to name a few. But the fans who’ve been to them all likely have resounding agreement: There is no place quite like Red Rocks.

May 27- 28: The massive Maggie Rogers “Don’t Forget Me” Tour is, of course, featuring two nights on the holy Red Rocks grounds. These live dates come in support of Maggie Rogers’ latest album, Don’t Forget Me, which arrived on April 12. We can’t wait to hear the new album live in Morrison, Co, performed along with Rogers’ other hits such as “Dawns” and “Alaska.” We anticipate a beautifully calibrated show behind Rogers, utilizing the gorgeous Red Rocks setting.

Lord Huron

May 29-30: Indie rock band Lord Huron are having one of the biggest moments of their career. Not only are they serving as openers along the Kacey Musgraves “Deeper Well” Tour, they are performing two nights at Red Rocks. Lord Huron’s latest LP was 2021’s Long Lost, with the hit singles “Not Dead Yet” and “Love Me Like You Used To.” We can’t wait to see how Lord Huron take the Red Rocks stage in May.

James Taylor and His All-Star Band

Jun. 2-3: Fans, James Taylor and His All-Star Band will bring their 31-show run to Red Rocks mid-summer. The six-time Grammy winning folk artist and his All-Star Band are performing two nights at the amphitheater, and will perform hits such as “How Sweet It Is,” “Fire and Rain,” “Carolina on My Mind,” and many more. It’s certainly not every year fans get the opportunity to see the 75-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee perform such an iconic stage. Fans, this James Taylor show is not to be missed.

Widespread Panic

Jun. 21- 23: You heard us correctly: Widespread Panic. Red Rocks Amphitheater. Three consecutive nights—but never three consecutive set lists. Known for never repeating a live show, we encourage fans who can head to Morrison in June to not only attend one, but two or three nights of Panic. Though it’s been some time since Widespread Panic released a new album, their catalog of music dating back to the 80’s is more than enough to keep fans entertained all weekend long.

The Avett Brothers

July 5- 7: For three nights in July, country rock musicians The Avett Brothers will take the legendary Red Rocks stage. For one of the three nights, The Avett Brothers will be joined by the one and only Melissa Etheridge. The Avett Brothers are currently touring to support their forthcoming, Rick Rubin-produced self-titled record. The new album, The Avett Brothers, is out May 17th. Fans will definitely be getting a big taste of the new LP at Red Rocks this summer, alongside their heavy arsenal of beloved tracks.

Santana and Counting Crows

July 29- 30: Two legends, Santana and Counting Crows, have joined forces for an epic co-headlining tour this summer. We are so stoked to see that the “Oneness” Tour will hit Red Rocks, for not just one but two nights in July. The “Oneness” Tour is going to be one of the more epic concerts set to take place at Red Rocks this summer. Can you believe you’ll get to hear both “Smooth” and “Rain King” at the same concert, on the same night? It’s about to be a stellar night of hits in Morrison, CO.

Mt. Joy

Aug. 8- 9: Indie and roots rockers Mt. Joy are bringing their largest tour yet to Red Rocks this summer. The band continues to tour in support of 2022’s Orange Blood, which brought us hits such as “Bathroom Light” and “Lemon Tree.” The band’s first new single since Orange Blood arrived last month in the form of “Highway Queen,” a track which actually received it’s live debut at Red Rocks. Mt. Joy’s return to Morrison, CO is destined to be a triumphant moment for both the band and their loyal fans.

Khruangbin

Aug 27- 28: Currently on their “A la Sala” Tour, the psychedelic funk-rock trio Khruangbin are scheduled to perform back-to-back nights at Red Rocks Amphitheater. The Houston-based trio are no strangers to the storied stage and will be returning to Red Rocks for the first time since 2021. We absolutely cannot wait to hear “Maria También” within the gorgeous natural setting of America’s greatest amphitheater.
